Adult Eye Exam

Adults should have their eyes examined once per year. However, depending on your unique situation, and whether or not you have a predisposition to eye disease, your optometrist may recommend that you visit more frequently.

For more information, please visit our Adult Eye Exam page.

Children’s Eye Exam

Your child’s vision plays a critical role in their development. Having clear vision makes it easier for your child to learn, both inside and outside the classroom. If your child is experiencing problems with their vision, it is critical that these issues be identified and treated as soon as possible. Untreated vision problems can impact your child’s development, and affect their ability to learn.

Children should have their eyes examined at least once per year. However, your optometrist may suggest that they visit more frequently.

For more information about children’s eye exams, and information about common childhood eye issues, please visit our Children’s Eye Exam page.

Seniors Eye Exam

Though changes in eyesight are an inevitable part of the ageing process, there are steps that we can take to delay, manage, and slow the progression of many eye diseases and conditions. The best way to safeguard your vision is to take a proactive approach and make sure you are having your eyes examined at least once per year.

Contact Lens Exam & Fitting

Contact lenses can offer you freedom from glasses. However, there is no one-size-fits-all option when it comes to contact lenses. Port Moody Eye Care provides comprehensive contact lens exams and fittings, which will help us determine which style and brand of contact lenses is right for your eyes.

Improperly fitted contact lenses are not just uncomfortable; they can also compromise your vision and cause corneal damage.

To learn more about our contact lens exams and fitting process, proper lens hygiene and maintenance, about the different types of specialty contact lenses available at Port Moody Eye Care, please visit our Contact Lens Exam & Fittings page.
